SENIOR WATCH PROGRAM

The Smith Township Police Department offers a free Senior Watch Program. The program will provide daily calls to the resident to check on their well being. The officers are also able to conduct home visits when necessary. This program is intended to provide residents living in the township a sense of security as well as comfort in knowing that assistance is coming should they become incapacitated.

CIVILIAN FINGERPRINTS

 

The Smith Township Police Department offers Civilian Fingerprints for Smith Township residents, persons working in Smith Township, or persons applying for a job in Smith Township

*Any person who requests a Civilian Fingerprint must provide valid identification and supply their own fingerprint card.

House Watch

 The Smith Township Police Department offers Vacation House Watch checks for residents on short or long trips. 

Officers from the police department will routinely check the perimeter of the house as time permits.

The Smith Township Police Department currently consists of 10 Sworn police officers who protect the 32 mile township 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The police department handles a variety of calls among the approximately 5000 residents and is always willing to lend a helping hand or go the extra mile when needed.
