NOTICE OF VACANCY
Fiscal Officer – Smith Township, Mahoning County, Ohio

The Board of Trustees of Smith Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, is accepting applications for the elected position of Township Fiscal Officer. The next term begins April 1, 2026, with mandatory training to commence prior to December 31, 2025. Qualifications and Duties:

· Must be eighteen years old, a U.S. citizen, a registered voter, and a resident of Smith Township.

· Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records of the Township, including accounts, management of funds, payroll, and compliance with the Ohio Revised Code governing township fiscal officers.

· Training and certification as required by law must be completed before assuming full duties.

· Ability to work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and other Township officials, attend meetings, and perform duties with integrity and transparency.

· Township computer, software, printer and other supplies will be provided.

· This position has the benefit of work from home out of your home office.
